Wireless Microphones

Wireless microphones are used in a variety of applications and require low-power, mobile transmitters with extremely low audio latency and excellent signal quality. In contrast to IEM applications, the transmitting side of the wireless link is strictly power-limited.

Freedelity's IP portfolio supports the design of wireless microphone transmitters and multi-channel receiver stations. Bi-directional communication is supported for configuration and control purposes. Automatic frequency selection and RF configuration enable a true self-organizing audio network.

Synchronized multi-channel audio output in both analog and digital formats is provided at the receiver station. With a latency of 1.2 ms, a standard audio format of 24 bit @ 48 kHz is transmitted. The system supports other bit widths and sample rates.
