RNA - Realtime Natural Audio

Freedelity's proprietary Realtime Natural Audio wireless technology delivers highest audio quality with a latency of only 1.2 ms for all professional audio applications. Contrary to conventional narrowband systems, RNA distributes the wireless signal over a broad frequency range of 20 MHz. Inevitable dips in the frequency response of the wireless channel are compensated for by regions with much better channel quality, as shown in the sketch above.

Furthermore, RNA includes spatial precoding for a variety of application scenarios with multiple antennas at the transmitter, the receiver, or at both ends of the wireless link. Appropriate multi-antenna transmission schemes can be selected based on product and application requirements, further increasing effective channel quality.

RNA operates on carrier frequencies between 5 and 6 GHz, thereby reducing the load in the UHF/VHF bands. It was developed in response to sub-GHz spectrum shortage caused by digital TV rollout and challenging regulation during recent years. Freedelity offers a future-proof technology for shifting IEM and wireless microphone links to new frequency ranges, complementing existing systems in the UHF/VHF bands.
